The Warp Block is a trademark item of the Mario Party Series on the N64. It first appeared in Mario Party as something you could purchase to have it show up on the boards. It would show up randomly and take a player's turn as s/he was swapped with someone on the board at random. It would make its debut as a true item in Mario Party 2 and would later appear in Mario Party 3. It costs 15 coins in Mario Party 2 and just 5 coins in Mario Party 3. While not as common as the Skeleton Key or standard Mushroom, it is still an item that appears quite often in the N64 Mario Party games. This is Yoshi's favorite item in Mario Party 3. It was replaced by the Warp Pipe in Mario Party 4 and future Mario Party installments.
