Yoshi's Island is a platform video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System console. It was released on October 6th, 1995 in Europe, October 4th, 1995 in North America and August 5th, 1995 in Japan. It's the first game where Yoshi, Luigi, Bowser and Mario appear.

---Plot.
The story begins when a stork is about to deliver two twins named Mario and Luigi when a flying Koopa knocks them down. The Koopa named Kamek snatches Luigi, while Mario and a map falls down towards Yoshi's island. Mario lands on Yoshi and the map falls with Mario. From here on, the player(s) must complete levels and fight bosses to get bit by bit to Bowser's Castle!
