There are Goombas and Fire Bros, although the most common enemy are the Bullet Bills of various sizes. The Bullet Bills have cat ears and they appear from the moving train in the background. Pom Pom

Pom Pom is the boss of World 3's Castle of Super Mario 3D World. In her boss fight, she tosses shirukens instead of Boomerangs and she has the ability to clone herself. The clones also toss out shirukens. The easiest way to distinguish the real Pom Pom from the clones is to look for the pink shiruken, as the clones shirukens are grey. She splits into three at the beginning of the battle. After you hit her the first time, she'll split into four. After the second hit, she'll finally split into six. You defeat Pom Pom by jumping on her three times.

Defeating Pom Pom will clear the Castle and free the Blue Sprixie Princess, who will create a Clear Pipe to World 3-B, A Banquet with Hisstocrat.

  • Green Star 3: You'll encounter a Warp Pipe around the area where you get the Mega Mushroom. Head in the pipe to head to the train in the background. Break the nearby crate to free Captain Toad, who will reward you with the final Green Star.

[edit] Stamp Location

A Banquet With Hisstocrat is the final course of this world and it consists of a Boss Arena, in which you'll battle Hisstocrat, who's a snake like creature. His attacks involve emerging from the ground, causing boulders to land towards the player. He also summon smaller snakes with platforms for the player to stand on. If the platforms have cracks on them, then the snake will break it if you stand on it for too long. The goal is to use those platforms to jump on the Hisstocrat three times to defeat it. Alternatively, the Super Bell appears on the course, allowing you to simply climb the smaller snakes and jumping on the Hisstocrat that way.

Defeating this boss will clear the world, you'll earn 1 Green Star, and the Blue Sprixie Princess will create a Clear Pipe leading to World 4.
