Wario is a fictional Nintendo character created by Gunpei Yokoi. Wario first appeared in the 1992 hand held video game, Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins. He was the final boss and the main villain. Or he could be said to have first appeared in the arcade game Mario Bros.. Wario was designed to be an antagonist to Mario. The bad guy. Wario in his own video games is known to be the protagonist. The good guy. He is voiced by Charles Martinet, who also voices the Waluigi, Luigi, and Mario characters. Mario and Wario's actions and personalities are different most of the time. Mario is mostly hero-like and friendly. Wario is not. The Letter M is an upside down W. This has been noticed by many people as a naming correlation. Wario is a very strong character who`s strength easily rivals Mario`s, and possibly even Donkey Kong and Bowser. It is also not well known what kind of relationship he has with his brother Waluigi, in Mario Super Sluggers Wii, He calls him a bean poll when He finds him next to one of his chests in Wario city.
