Waluigi is a character who was first introduced to the Mario universe in Mario Tennis. Waluigi is the brother of Wario, and was created as an opposite of Luigi. He continues to appear in games such as Mario Party 9, and all Mario Sports Games, and is rumored to soon be getting his own game starring Waluigi and Wario. It is thought Nintendo would like for him to have his own game, but he is still partly owned by Hudson Soft. It is suggested that his personalty is of a devious nature, dealing with very sneaky and deceptive power moves. Waluigi's name comes from Luigi's name combined with the Japanese word "Waru", which is Japanese for "Bad" (as goes for Wario, which is the same but with Mario).
