Star Cup consists of four to five race tracks in the Mario Kart Series and the emblem for the Cup is a Star. Completing this cup, usually unlocks the Special Cup.

The Star Cup has also made appearances in Mario Strikers Charged and Mario Superstar Baseball. On Mario Strikers Charged, the cup has eight teams, and seven rounds. Star Cup would also make an appearance in Mario Sports Mix
