Sombrero Guys have just made an appearance in the recent Nintendo title Paper Mario: Sticker Star where they appear as enemies in World 2. They attack Mario buy throwing their hats at him or they can play instruments to double their attack power, along with other allied enemies. They are relatively weak and are vulnerable to both Hammer and Jump attacks. After they are defeated they will sometimes drop Sombrero Stickers for Mario to use.
