The Shiny Koopa Troopa is a type of Koopa Troopa that first appears in Paper Mario: Sticker Star. It would look like a regular, red or green Koopa but with a shiny effect added to it, similar to the shiny stickers. When they attack, they will disappear into their shell and hurl itself towards Mario. A Red Shiny Koopa can only be fought if a Shiny Koopa Paratroopa is hurt. Green Shiny Koopas can be fought normally. The Red Shiny Koopas are stronger than the Green Shiny Koopas.
