Bowser Jr. (brother)
Roy Koopa acts as the biggest bully of the Koopalings, clearly being portrayed as the strongest Koopaling of them all, and using this strength to attempt to stop Mario in his tracks. As he is the strongest one, he never backs down from a fight, and uses his resilience to continually try and stop those who get in his father's way.
The strongest Koopaling likes to use brute force in order to stake his claim. In Super Mario Bros. 3, he, along with the other Koopalings, took over the Mushroom Kingdom. Roy got the domain of Sky Land by muscling his way through all of the residents there.
He again returned in Super Mario World, where he and his brothers and sisters took over the Mushroom Kingdom once more. This time however, Roy took the Forest of Illusion, where Mario had to navigate through in order to stop and defeat him.
In Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, Roy wasn't a main character in any way whatsoever. He was a boss in Bowser's Castle however, mainly used to stall or stop Mario. In the end, even Roy's brawn was not enough to defeat Mario, and he went on to stop Bowser.
After a large hiatus, the Koopalings returned once more in New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Roy took over Desert Land, and was defeated twice by Mario, even though Roy had Kamek's assistance all throughout the second battle, which was one reminiscent to Lemmy's in Super Mario World.
 Game History
 Super Mario Series
Roy Koopa would be the boss of World 1 in New Super Mario Bros. 2. At the start of the battle, he will let out a roar. When the battle starts, he will charge at Mario or Luigi and use his wand to shoot purple fireballs at them. If Roy Koopa hits a wall, it will temporarily stun him and make it easier to jump on his head.
Like in Super Mario World, after every hit, the wall will close in as he retreats into his shell. After being hit three times, Roy will be defeated and the key for World 2 will appear.
Roy would appear in Bowser's Castle with the rest of the Koopalings as they use the Koopa Clown Car's petrification device to try and petrify Mario or Luigi. They will also try to aid Bowser by causing him to grow larger though this will result in him being knocked into a lava pit. Bowser and the Koopalings would survive and attempt to aid Bowser by airlifting him though the combined weight would cause the Clown Car to crash.
