The 'Red Yoshi is one of the color variants of the Yoshi species. It would make its first appearance in Super Mario World where it would allow the Yoshi to spit fireballs after eating a shell. It would appear in several games in the Mario series. He would be known as Dash Yoshi in Super Mario Galaxy 2.

The Red Yoshis debut would take place in Star World 1 and Star World 4 in Super Mario World, When he swallows a koopa shell, he will be able to shoot fireballs from his mouth. If he swallows a yellow or blue shell, he will also be able to use their abilities.

The Red Yoshi would appear as player 2 for the VS. Mode in Super Mario 64 DS.

He was set to appear in New Super Mario Bros. Wii but would be later replaced by a Pink Yoshi.

Red Yoshi would return in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island with the same appearance as it was in Super Mario World.

The Red Yoshi would make a couple of appearances in the Paper Mario Series. The first appearance would be the Red Yoshis that would appear in Yoshi Village in Paper Mario. There would also be a chance to get a Red Baby Yoshi in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door as a party member.

The Red Yoshi would be an alternate color for Yoshi throughout the Super Smash Bros. series.

Yoshi would be able to change into a Red Yoshi after perform the Rolling Egg Return after the player has completed the Flower Cup with any character.

Red Yoshi would be one of the downloadable QR code characters in Mario Tennis Open. He would be one of the Technique characters in the game.

It would be an alternate color for Yoshi in Mario Hoops 3-on-3 after winning the silver trophy in the Flower Tourney on Hard Mode. If the player wants to choose the Red Yoshi, they will need to hold the D-pad Control pad up or down, press x or B while on Yoshi.

Red Yoshi would be one of the team players in the game. He would have the weakest fielding abilities out of all of the Yoshis in the game.

He would be assist the red team from the sidelines in the Dodgeball game for Mario Sports Mix. He is not a playable character in the game.
