Pink Yoshi is one of the varieties of Yoshis that would first appear in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island.

The Pink Yoshi would be playable on the second level for each world in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island. It would have pink skin with orange shoes and a orange saddle. In the Game Boy Advance port, the Pink Yoshi would have blue shoes instead.
The Pink Yoshi would be one of the playable Baby Yoshis in Yoshi's Story. It would wear yellow shoes and a red saddle, this would become its appearance in most later games. It wouldn't play any different than the other Yoshis beside the color and diet. It would also be featured on the cover art for the North American Yoshi's Story cartridge.
A Pink Yoshi could be acquired in Yoshi Touch & Go by achieving a score of at least 80, but less than 100 points in the vertical falling parts of the game. It is able to carry a total of 30 eggs and is considered the third slowest Yoshi.
When playing the multiplayer on a single game cartridge in Mario Kart: Super Circuit;;, the second player would be the Pink Yoshi.

Pink Yoshi would be one of the rideable Yoshis in New Super Mario Bros. Wii alongside Green, Yellow, and Light Blue Yoshi.
Pink Yoshi would be one of the downloadable QR code characters in Mario Tennis Open. He would be a technique type character.
During the events of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, if the it takes the Yoshi Kid 15-18 minutes to hatch, then it will be a Pink Yoshi Kid that hatches. It will have green hair and red polka dotted briefs.
Pink Yoshi would be one of the team players in Mario Super Sluggers. It would have the worst pitching abilities though it would be the fastest team player.
Pink Yoshi would be an alternate color in Mario Sports Mix. It could be unlocked after playing 25 matches with Yoshi.
Two Pink Yoshis would appear on the Yoshi's Island board in Fortune Street.
