Petey Piranha is a villain in the Mario series who made his debut in Super Mario Sunshine. He's the first boss in Bianco Hills, and he is fought twice. You must spray water through your F.L.U.D.D. to fill up his stomach, and then ground pound his belly. This must be done three times. The next time you fight, he's asleep on a cloud. you must shoot him to wake him up. He'll start flying around, in which you must shoot him down, and then fill him with water and ground pound his stomach. You must do this three times. The next game Petey appeared in was Super Princess Peach. To fill up his stomach, you must cry for him to absorb the moisture, before you ground pound his stomach. In New Super Mario Bros., he appears as the end boss of World 5. He jumps up and slams his body down, but the floor is slippery because of the ice, so Petey falls. It is then when you ground pound his stomach.

While Petey Piranha doesn't appear in Mario Tennis Open, he can be unlocked as a costume after the player makes 50 returns in Ink Showdown. A Tennis Racket can also be unlocked for 1,200 coins at the shop after it randomly pops up after a match.
