Paint Guys just recently made their first appearance in Paper Mario: Sticker Star for the Nintendo 3DS. They are encountered in World 3 and look just like Shy Guys except they hold a bucket of yellow paint above their head. During battle they try to attack Mario with the paint by dumping it on him. Players can stop his attack by pressing the A button rapidly. However if he manages to dump paint on Mario it will cover the screen making things hard for players to see. After he loses his can of paint he reverts to a normal Shy Guy. He often appears in the presence of Clip Guys.
