New Super Mario Bros. Wii is a 2.5D platformer (e.g., the characters are 3D but everything else is 2D) Mario game on the Nintendo Wii and is a sequel to New Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo DS. The game features Mario, Luigi and two Toads as playable characters, all whom can also ride Yoshis. Princess Peach was also going to be a playable character, but was cut out for not being able to get her dress to work with the game, so she was once again, had to be the person that you have to save from Bowser. The Koopalings makes an appearance as bosses for the first time since Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga.
==Gameplay== The game uses nice classic 2D game play with good control and a verity of moves. If you shake the Wii remote you will do a spin move, which was taken out of the DS version.
