The Koopa Dasher is a default lightweight kart in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!. As its name implies, the kart belongs to Koopa Troopa in the game. It's design resembles the green shell on Koopa's back with a "K" as the emblem on the front of the kart as well as the kart's tires. While the Koopa Dasher is rated like the Toad Kart and Rattle Buggy, 2 other lightweight karts, the Koopa Dasher is a bit unique. It's the heaviest 2-star rated lightweight kart and can actually stand up to the Bloom Coach, a middleweight kart. Despite the 2-star rating in Speed, the Koopa Dasher's top speed is only equal to that of the Boo Pipes and Goo Goo Buggy, the latter of which only has a 1-star rating in Speed. However, the Koopa Dasher does make up for this with acceleration. Despite having a 4-star rating in Acceleration, it is actually tied with the Toadette Kart for the fastest accelerator in the game.
