The Kamek Orb was first introduced in Mario Party 5 as the Kamek capsule. When someone landed on a space containing the capsule, Kamek would show up and shuffle everyone's capsules by using his magic. It would return in Mario Party 6 as a SIngle Space Orb and it cost 10 coins to buy from an Orb Shop. When a player lands on a space containing this Orb, Kamek would show up in order to give one of the player's Orb Spaces to the owner of the Kamek Orb Space that was just landed on. No event would take place if the player landing on the space didn't have any Orb Spaces on the board at that point. The Orb would return in Mario Party 7 with a slight change in mechanics. It was still a Single Space Orb, but instead of just taking one Orb Space, Kamek would give 3 Orb Spaces to the owner when someone landed on the space containing this Orb.
In Mario Party 6, Kamek mistakenly says that he is giving all of your Orb spaces to the owner of the Orb Space instead of saying the actual amount the person loses to the owner, which is one.
