[edit] Character Bio

[edit] Personality and Appearance

Kamek is a very feisty Magikoopa who is always restricted by Baby Bowser his master, and partner in crime. Kamek wears a long blue robe with white at the end of its sleeves. His red shoes are often hidden by his long robe when he stands on the ground. His huge reading glasses suggest very terrible eye vision. He can sometimes be seen carrying a yellow wand with a red jewel in its end, this wand is his weapon, though who knows if he carries it sometimes just to make a fashion statement. He can also be seen flying on a yellow magic broom, made from bamboo sticks

[edit] Background

Kamek, lives in Bowser's Castle with Baby Bowser, and their Toadies and other minions.

[edit] Game History

Kamek has appeared in several games as a side villain who helps Baby Bowser out of dire situations, or just causes trouble for his master's enemies. The games Kamek has appeared in are: Yoshi's Island, Tetris Attack, Yoshi Touch and Go, Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, and Yoshi's Island DS. Kamek also made a brief appearance in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, in which he brainwashes Luigi into believing he is Mario. Kamek made a small appearance in Super Princess Peach as Giant Kamek, who is this time working for adult Bowser. Giant Kamek is trusted with guarding Luigi, who was captured in the beginning of the game along with Mario, and other Toads. Kamek can also be summoned in the games Mario Party 5, Mario Party 6, Mario Party 7, and Mario Party 8, by obtaining a Kamek Orb. In the game Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Kamek can be seen floating near the finish line on the course Bowser's Castle 3. Also in Mario Kart: Double Dash, a sign of Kamek can be seen in the course Baby Park, this sign also appears in the courses remake in the game Mario Kart DS. Kamek also has a kart that resembles him in Mario Kart Wii, named the Magikruiser. Kamek is also rumored to be in the game Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, in which he is believed to be a brainwashed Magikoopa. This is somewhat confirmed by using Mallow's (One of Mario's partners in the game.) Psychopath ability, this then reads the Magikoopa's mind and the message "That's... my child?" appears, this is believed to be in relation to Bowser being in the party when this message is displayed, making Kamek recall Bowser, as Baby Bowser.

[edit] Mario Party Series

[edit] Mario Party 9

Kamek would be on Bowser's minions in Mario Party 9 with Shy Guy. During the events of Solo Mode, he will appear randomly on the boards as he will try to win on the board and make the player play it over. After completing the Solo Mode, he will become a playable character.

"Kamek" in the German version of Club Nintendo

[edit] Comic Appearances

Though Kamek has never been confirmed to have appeared in any Mario comics, a Magikoopa that looks very similar to Kamek appeared in the comics: Super Mario Adventures, (Created by Nintendo Power.) and in the German version of Club Nintendo. In the German version of Club Nintendo "Kamek" tries to shrink Mario, but his plans go desperately wrong and in the end the two end up hugging. Later in the German comics "Kamek" appears in the comics' recreations of Yoshi's Island, and Yoshi's Story. (A game in which Kamek was never actually featured.)

[edit] Future

Kamek was later replaced by Kammy Koopa, another Magikoopa. Kamek usually only appears in games that go back in time and show Bowser, as Baby Bowser. Besides these small roles Kamek is not expected to appear in any other type of game.
