BEANSTALK

 Some winged clouds contain a seed which drops to the ground, which will then

 transform into a beanstalk. You can climb the leaves on the beanstalk to

 reach a higher point of the level.

BLUE WATERMELON

 When Yoshi eats this he can freeze enemies by shooting this out of his mouth upon contact the enemy will die.

CHOMP ROCK

 Chomp Rock is a just a circular rock that has a design of a chomp on it, it can be pushed by Yoshi down hills and up hills, it’s good for defeating enemies.

COIN

 Collect 100 of these coins to get an extra life.

CRATE

 Stomp on this to get 6 stars!

DONUT LIFT

 Be careful when you’re on one of these, because if you stay on these to long they will fall.

EGG

 Yoshi can collect eggs either by eating enemies, or by hitting special egg

 blocks along the way. Eggs are very useful in hitting enemies or other

 objects from a long distance.

EGG BLOCK

 A green block, that when hit will drop out free eggs, awesome for when your low on eggs.

EGG PLANT

 The Egg Plant is a very useful object, it will continuously shoot out eggs until Yoshi has the maximum amount of eggs he can carry which is 6.

EXPANSION BLOCK

 A block that gets bigger as you hit it, great for getting up to those higher places!

FLOWER

 There are 5 of these in each level, one flower counts for 10% completion of one level.

GOAL RING

 Jump through this at the end of the level to complete the level.

GREEN WATERMELON

 One of the most common watermelons in the game, eat this and then get Yoshi to spit them out at enemies, most of them will be defeated.

HUT

 A locked hut usually found in each level, find a key in the level and come back to this hut to unlock it and try your skills at a bonus level.

KEY

 A key which opens locked doors such as huts, or boss doors. They can be found in many places.

MANUAL ROTATING PLATFORM

 This is a platform that only moves when you jump from one to the next creating a circular effect.

MESSAGE BLOCK

 A white smiling block that when hit gives you tips on how to play the game.

METAMORPHOSIS BUBBLE

 This is a floating bubble with a picture in it then when hit will transform Yoshi into a vehicle that will help him complete the level.

MIDDLE RING

 This is kind of the halfway point, jump through here to save your progress in the level, when and if you die anywhere else in the level you will start at the middle ring.

RED COIN

 There are twenty of these in each level, each Red Coin counts for 1% completion of the level.

RED WATERMELON

 When Yoshi eats one of these he is able to shoot fire out of his mouth.

PIPE

 This is straightforward, a green, yellow, or red pipe emitting from the ground that can transport you places or shoot enemies out of it.

ROTATING PLATFORM

 A platform that takes you from point A to B.

STAR

 There are thirty of these stars in each level, they are very useful as each star accounts for 1% completion of the level.

SUPER STAR

 When Yoshi collects one of these Mario will be able to run around on his own, be invincible, and even run up walls. It’s also quite amusing to watch.

SPRING BALL

 A large ball with a arrow on it, when yoshi steps on this he will jump in the direction the arrow was pointing.

TULIP

 Everytime you shoot an egg into a tulip you get 8 stars. 

VASE

 Smash these to find out what’s in them they usually contain keys.

WINGED CLOUD

 A small cloud with wings on it, usually contains stars.

YOSHI BLOCK

 After touching a metamorphis bubble if you can touch this before your time runs out you’ll turn back into Yoshi.
