The Invincibility Leaf is a power-up found in Super Mario 3D Land and the upcoming Nintendo 3DS game, New Super Mario Bros. 2. They only appear once Mario loses five lives in a single level. When he touches it, he will turn into a white and golden Tanooki Suit that turns him into White Tanooki Mario, and makes him invincible through the whole level. If the player is using Luigi, the power-up will not appear and also won't appear if the level has been completed.
It has the same effect in New Super Mario Bros. 2 though it will change Mario into White Raccoon Mario instead of the White Tanooki Mario form and will appear after the player has lost five lives.
