Character Bio
Personality and Appearance
Dry Bones is simply a skeletal version of Koopa Troopa and has a ghostly appearance to him. Dry Bones has multiple personalities depending on where he is. He may be jumpy and energetic when Partying or Kart Racing, or serious and revengeful when getting back up from being stomped on by Mario.
Early Start
Dry Bones' first appearance was in Super Mario Bros. 3 where he was first noticed as unbeatable by stomping. He was able to just pop right back up, and even today the same characteristics apply. Later on Dry Bones appeared in Super Mario World and Hotel Mario as a foe, like most times, to Mario. Although his appearance may change a bit from game to game like his 3D look in Super Mario RPG and his paper look in Paper Mario and Paper Mario: The thousand Year Door, he remains the ghostly self from his past. Other appearances include Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time where he threw bones at enemies from a distance, Super Princess Peach where he received his now recognizable look, and New Super Mario Bros., where he relived his villainous ability to pop up from destruction once more, and lets not forget his speedy side in Mario Kart DS, where he made his first karting appearance.
Today
Now, whether he is hitting a baseball in Mario Superstar Baseball, driving a kart in Mario Kart Wii, or partying it out with his friends in Mario Party 7 and Mario Party 8,where he was playable, Mario Party DS, where he was not playable, he will still be the jumpy skeletal villain to Mario, such as being Mario's common enemy in Super Mario Galaxy.
Future
Although we can assume he will appear in later Mario Games, we can be sure that he will definitely be appearing in Mario Super Sluggers.
