[edit] Rules and Objective

In this Mini-Game, you simply want to hit as many baseballs as you can. The pitching machines will throw the same 30 pitches to each player. Whoever hits the most out of 30 baseballs is declared the winner with ties included.

[edit] Mini-Game Decathlon Event

The rules stay the same with the Decathlon Event, but your Objective changes slightly. Rather than trying to be first or bust, you simply want to hit as many baseballs as you possibly can. Don't quit just because you aren't hitting the most baseballs. Points are awarded based on how many baseballs you manage to hit.

[edit] Advice

Be aware of different pitches. While most will be easy enough to hit, some baseballs will come in at a high rate of speed or wobble around to you. Stay focused and be persistent with these pitches.

[edit] Pitch types

A rundown of the types of pitches you will see in this game:

  • Fastball = As the name implies, this type of pitch comes at a high rate of speed.
  • Changeup = The most common pitch. These arc in and are relatively easy to hit.
  • Screwball = The most difficult pitch to hit. These wobble to the plate and require great focus to hit one.

[edit] Controls

  • A Button = Swing the bat
