Character Bio

Appearence and Personality

Daisy is the Princess of Sarasaland and is cousin to Princess Peach. She has brown hair and wears a long yellow dress with an orange trim, as well as white gloves and flower shaped earings with a matching amulet. Daisy is known for her tomboyish and energetic attitude and tough personality. Some gamers think that Daisy and Luigi are in love with each other, this was later pointed out to possibly be true after a statue of them playfully dancing was shown in Mario Kart Wii.

Early Start

Daisy's first appearence was a minor role in Super Mario Land as the Princess of Sarasaland. Soon after she appeared as more minor roles, such as being Luigi's caddy in NES Open Tournament Golf and as a clerk in Mario is Missing. After a long period of time, Daisy reappeared as now a playable character in Mario Party 3 and Mario Tennis. She would later appear in the rest of the Mario Party games. Daisy soon became playable in Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour where she was possibly one of the strongest characters in the game with her high power. Daisy also soon appeared in her first karting game to be partner with Peach in Mario Kart Double Dash!!, and also re-took her role in Mario Power Tennis. She was then, and now, a true part of the spin-off games, soon making her appearance in Mario SuperStar Baseball, Mario Kart DS, Mario Hoops 3 on 3, and Mario Strikers Charged.

Today

Daisy still remains in most spin-off games such as her recent appearance as a speed character in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games and Mario Party DS. She also made her karting return in Mario Kart Wii as a Mid-weight character.

Future

Like most characters Daisy is set to be playable, and also a captain, in Mario Super Sluggers, and we can assume she will appear in future spin-off games as well.
