 Mario Bros.
Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis
Crabs would make an appearance in Mario vs. Donkey Kong 2: March of the Minis as mechanical enemies called Mini Crabs. They would act the same as a regular Crab by walking from side to side. They are able to hurt the Mini Marios.
 Super Mario Sunshine
In Super Mario Sunshine, little crabs are seen among the beaches of the game. They do not affect the gameplay and are just there for decoration.
 Super Mario Galaxy
Super Mario Galaxy would introduce a crab species called Crabber. They are found on beach galaxies and can be easily defeated by Mario spinning into it or jumping on it and then allow Mario to get behind them and spin their weak point to defeat it.
 New Super Mario Bros. Wii
 Super Mario Galaxy 2
Crabbers would return in Super Mario Galaxy 2. They would act the same as they did in Super Mario Galaxy and can be defeated the same way. They are seen on galaxies like Starshine Beach Galaxy. They can also be easily defeated if riding on Yoshi. He can simply eat them.
 Mario Kart Series
Throughout the Mario Kart Series, Crabs can be found on most of the beach stages as they walk from left to right. Driving into one of these crabs will make the player spin out. Sidesteppers would later replace Crabs for later installments to the series.
 Donkey Kong Series
 Donkey Kong
In Donkey Kong for the Game Boy, they would first appear on stage 1-2 on the Ship. They would walk around slowly, occasionally stopping or hiding in their shells. Mario is able to stand on them but if he walks into them from the side, he will lose a life. They will also try to kill Mario by using their claws.
