The Cardboard Goomba is one of the many characters that make their first appearance in Super Mario 3D Land. As of what we know right now, it cannot damage Mario, as all it does is stand there, for it is not an actual enemy. However, it can be destroyed through use of Mario's new-found Roll ability. It is not known if there are any alternative ways to defeat and break the Cardboard Goomba yet.
