Banzai Bills are a larger version of the Bullet Bill enemy that makes its first appearance in Super Mario World. They are black and have a shark-like smile. They use to be the largest Bullet Bill sub-species, until King Bills appeared in New Super Mario Bros. Wii.
 Super Mario Series
They would make their first appearance in Super Mario World and in the very first level of the game as well. They are fired from somewhere off-screen and travel at a slow pace from right to left. They can be destroyed by being jumped on top of or hit by Mario when he's using the Star. Fireballs will not do any damage to the Banzai Bill.
Banzai Bills would appear in New Super Mario Bros. with a similar look to the ones seen in Super Mario World, but with a pinch of purple to their color and red shadows under their eyes. They are fired from Banzai Bill Blasters and are only seen near the end of a level. They travel very slowly and twirl in the air. To defeat them, a simple jump will do.
Banzai Bills are only found in the last level for Super Mario Galaxy, Bowser's Galaxy Reactor. They do not home in on Mario's location like the Bullet Bills, but they are difficult to get out of reach due to their size. Mario will need to wait until they pass by, or attempt to do a backflip over the large bullet. If hit by a Bullet Bill, Mario will get knocked down and possibly into the lava or just lose a wedge of his health. They can not be defeated in this game.
Banzai Bills would return in the sequel to New Super Mario Bros., New Super Mario Bros. Wii. They would appear in mostly in World 7. They are found in the World 7 Tower as obstacles. Mario and company will need to move up on the platforms while Banzai Bills are shot at them. They can be used for reaching higher areas. If they are shot at with the Ice Flower, they will only be frozen for a few short seconds before breaking out. Missile Banzai Bill and King Bills would be introduced in this game.
They would be seen again in Super Mario Galaxy 2 and only appear in a few Galaxies. They could be seen first in Sky Station Galaxy and then Bowser Jr.'s Fearsome Fleet, Fleet Glide Galaxy, and Bowser's Galaxy Generator. They are defeated by the use of a Rainbow Star or Spin Drill. They will give out many Star Bits.
 Super Mario World TV Series
One Banzai Bill would be seen in the "Mama Luigi" episode in Super Mario World TV Series, though they were renamed as Magnum Bills. In this episode, Mario barely dodges and attack by a Koopa Wizard and lands in a path of an Magnum Bill. He dodges the attack from the Magnum Bill that just flies off into the distance.
They would appear in Super Mario 3D Land. They would make their first appearance in World 8-5 and then later be a common enemy in the Special Worlds. They move fast in the game and don't spin around like in some of the other Mario games. They can only be defeated by a Boomerang from Boomerang Mario or from a hit from the Starman.
Banzai Bills will be appearing in New Super Mario Bros. 2.
Banzai Bills will make their first appearance in the upcoming Mario Kart 7 game for the Nintendo 3DS. They will appear on the Airship Fortress track, replacing Bullet Bills, who appeared on the track in the Mario Kart DS version.
 Mario & Luigi Series
Banzai Bill would appear in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. it would appear in Dimble Woods when Bowser sees Private Goomp, Coporal Paraplonk and Sergeant Guy carrying a Banzai Bill Blaster around as they are planning to fire a Banzai Bill at Bowser's Castle, which was taken over by Fawful. But the three of them didn't grab any Banzai Bills and Bowser goes in search of one. Bowser would pull out a Giga-Carrot, thinking it was a Banzai Bill. He would have to eat it after Wiggler forces him too. He would then have to battle the Wiggler to acquire the Banzai Bill and give it to Private Goomp, Coporal Paraplonk and Sergeant Guy to shoot it at Bowser's Castle. However Midbus would see the Banzai Bill coming and dodge it.
Banzai Bills would take on the same role as they did in Super Mario World, in Super Princess Peach. Red Banzai Bills would be introduced and would be more dangerous type of Banzai Bill known as Mad Banzai Bills.
They would make a cameo in Mario Strikers Charged, on the Sand Tomb field. They are painted on one of the pillars in the background of the field. There painting would have the look that they did in Super Mario World.
 Mario & Sonic series
A Bullet Bill that resembles a Banzai Bill, appears in Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, called Big Bullet Bill. It captures the Snow Spirit, Icy in the DS version and is the rival in the fourth world and can be faced in Blazing Bobsleigh in the DS version, Skeleton in Single Festival Wii Version, and Bobsleigh in Team Festival for the Wii version. When defeated, it flies away but doesn't explode.
 Super Smash Bros. Series
 Super Smash Bros. Melee
They would first appear in the Super Smash Bros. Series in Super Smash Bros. Melee on the Princess Peach's Castle stage and appear at random. They will collide into the castle and burrow into the wall before they detonated and cause massive damage to anyone in the way of the explosion. It will also activate any buttons in range, platforms and ! Blocks. It would also appear in the Yoshi's Island stage in the background(it would appear on this stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.
