Para-bombs are Bob-ombs with parachutes. These enemies will slowly descend towards the ground from the sky. When they touch the ground, they will act like a regular Bob-omb. These enemies would not appear in many Mario games.
 Game History
Para-bombs would first appear in Super Mario World. They would fall from the sky and when they land on the ground, they would act like normal Bob-ombs.
The Para-bomb would appear in a minigame called Bob-omb Squad where they will have to be blown up before they touch the guarded flower.
Para-bombs would return in New Super Mario Bros. 2 with the same function as past games. Para-bombs would also be shot out of cannons in this game.
Para-bombs would appear in New Super Mario Bros. U and act like they did in past titles.
Para-bombs would have wings and crash into enemies from above in Hotel Mario. They would be able to follow Mario and Luigi when they fall from the sky and if they hit a door, then the door would close.
They would make a small cameo in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door when Mario and his partner are shout of the cannon in Fahr Outpost. They would come down slowly using red parachutes.
Para-bombs could be found on Goomba's Fortress in Paper Mario: Sticker Star. After the cannons appear, Para-bombs will fall from the sky after a Goomba wakes up a group of Bob-ombs with the trumpet. When they hit the ground, they attack like a Bob-omb.
Para-bombs would be known as just Parabombs in Super Princess Peach. They would behave like the Para-bombs in Super Mario World. This game would also introduce the Glad Parabomb.
